The trash valet service is designed to keep the neighborhood clean and quiet. There are no large sanitation vehicles going through the Windsor Island neighborhoods.
Please note the following for successful pickup:
- Trash bags are removed daily 7 days a week by hand and taken away in pickup trucks.
- Put all trash bagged and tied in 13 gallon kitchen bags only. Do NOT use grocery bags or throw loose trash into the bin as it will not be collected. Note: Improper trash disposal will incur an additional $50 cleaning charge.
- Flatten all medium or large cardboard boxes.
- Place bags in the trash container by 7 am for pickup. If there are any excess bags that don’t fit wait until the next day to put them out otherwise critters will empty them on the driveway.
- Leave the trash bin next to the house or garage and NOT at the curb. Anything left out near the street will not be picked up.
- For bulk or large items contact the front desk at [email protected] for special pick up.
- There are no separate recycling options at Windsor Island. All waste is considered trash and goes in the same place.
