Do you have mobility devices like a wheelchair or scooter available?

We have a 3 wheel mobility scooter available right at the home that can be rented. Just select this optional add-on when you book your stay.

Other local rental vendors have scooters and wheelchairs as well that can be delivered or picked up...

Do you have a BBQ grill?

A BBQ grill can be delivered directly to the home (at 2206 Lelani Circle Davenport, FL) from several vendors and used outside the screened lenai/pool area. When delivered they are always clean and have a full propane tank.

Otter Equipment Rental has BBQ grills, baby items, and wheelchairs. Call 863-271-8320.

How can I use the fire table for evening ambiance?

Even though Florida is hot, many people love to sit around a fire in the evening when it gets cooler. Use of the fire table is an extra cost. Be sure to select the option when you make your booking so that we can have a propane tank delivered and ready for you.

Where can I rent a large van?

Passenger cargo vans to transport 12-15 people are available at the airport from several rental car companies and Seatbelts LLC. Be sure to check with your insurance agent to see if you are required to purchase additional insurance depending on the agency you rent from. Cargo vans can help to save on parking at Disney as each vehicle is $26/day for standard parking.

How is parking at the resort?

Our home is on the largest lot available at Windsor Island and so allows for a total 5 total vehicles for guests and visitors. Parking is allowed in the driveway (up to 3 cars), one side of the street, and in the garage if required (2 cars). Note: RVs and boats are not allowed to park anywhere in the resort.

Do you have beach towels at the property?

Yes! Plenty for everyone. You can take them to the on site water park or the beach as long as you bring them back. You can also wash them at the home as necessary during your stay.

What kind of safety devices do you have at the home?

The pool is surrounded by a fence for children that can be removed.

Doors to the pool area have chime alarms as well. There are hand railings into the hot tub and pool to make it easier to enter.

The home has fire extinguishers on both levels as well as updated Nest Protect smoke/CO2 alarms in every room. The Nest alarms provide a verbal warning before going off.

Motion sensor night lights assist guests to see in the dark.

Is your kitchen equipped?

Yes! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need the prepare and eat meals... cups, mugs, glasses, plates, silverware, pots, pans, etc. There is also an amazing coffee machine, crock pot, Mickey waffle maker, etc.

Will I enjoy my vacation or is there too much noise and parties at Windsor Island Resort?

Most guest on vacation want a restful and calm experience. A common fear is that the resort may be too noisy or there are loud parties. Negative reviews are sometimes written by jealous owners from other competing resorts. Although, there have been occasional issues…especially around July 4th or New Years Eve, in general, you don’t need to worry about noise at Windsor Island Resort.

There is structure put in place to insure you have a wonderful vacation.

• Quiet hours: Guests are expected to respect quiet hours from 11 PM–7 AM.

• Noise ordinance: Outdoor noise and noise carried outside from inside a home must be kept to a minimum. There is a 24 hour noise ordinance in Polk county where Windsor Island is located. If there is ever an issue you can call the sheriff non-emergency and they will take care of it. 863-298-6200

• Roving Patrol: There is also private security that monitors the resort 24/7. To report any complaints you can call them at  407-943-4767.

• Parties: Homes are clear that loud activities and parties are not permitted. If guests have a party without permission, they may be responsible for extra cleaning charges or asked to vacate the property.

• Other Issues: There is a toll free number for residents/guests at Windsor Island to call: (888) 263-8224 to report suspicious persons/activity, parking issues, etc.

It is not OK for people to disrupt your enjoyment while you are on vacation at Lelani Beach Club at Windsor Island. The sheriff, resort staff, and your hosts take this seriously.

Can we order things from Amazon or Walmart to the house?

Yes! Deliveries can be made directly to the house as long as they are not via the US Postal Service. Shipt, Door Dash, etc. all deliver to the home so you can get food and other items quickly and conveniently.

Amazon will also deliver items to a locker at the nearby Seven Eleven store on Hwy 27 or 192 for easy pickup.

What other items do you have at the home?

We have all the things you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient: iron, ironing board, vacuum, steamer, broom, mop, etc.

Are there spa services available?

Several companies provide mobile massage services that will come directly to your rental home.

Lelani Beach Club also has a shiatsu foot massager available for rental that is a wonderful treat after a long day of walking in the parks.
